2. If the lesson should fall on a public holiday, we reserve the right to offer a replacement class, either on the same day and time on the week following the previously scheduled lessons, or on a different day and time mutually agreeable by the instructor and other class participants. If mutually agreed upon by instructor and participants, lessons can also continue to be carried out on public holidays.
3. Postponement of class: if due to bad weather or instructor being unavoidably delayed (eg, accident, sick) or poor pool conditions, a replacement class will be scheduled. If all participants wish to cancel a particular class due to own commitments, it must be done 48 hours prior to the scheduled class, otherwise no replacement class will be given. If majority of students are able to make it, class will proceed and the absent students can attend a make-up class (assigned by Swim Malaysia, not necessarily with the same instructor) within 2 weeks of missing the class. If the instructor / coordinator is not informed of cancellation 48 hours prior to the class, participants not showing up will be deemed absent and no make-up class will be given.
4. Participants are responsible for supplying their own swimming attire, caps, goggles, kickboards, etc., for the classes, for purposes of hygiene.
5. We cannot guarantee the successful ability to learn of any participant who does not follow the instructions given by our instructors.
6. While our instructors are well-trained, and every precaution is taken during each lesson, accidents do happen (slippery floors, freak nature conditions, swimmers not following instruction, etc.). The management and staff of Swim Malaysia shall not be held responsible for any mishap, injury, loss of life, theft, damage to possessions, etc., that may occur during, before or after the lessons.
